Through our two-part collegiate workshop series centered around our original Wealth Status Survey, Five Stages of Wealth Building Activity and Community-Minded Business Concept Form, the Black Generational Wealth Program educates on the causes and impact of the Black-White wealth and employment gaps, what generational wealth is and how to build it, the viability of entrepreneurship as a career option and how to develop, incorporate and launch a community-minded business concept, challenging college students to examine their socioeconomic status in relation to the wealth-building process and explore business ownership as an asset that facilitates economic advancement. Program alumni are eligible to apply for incorporation fee sponsorship.

How It Works
WORKSHOP I
Through deep personal and statistical analysis, participants become aware of Black household and employment disparities and learn where they are on the spectrum of building generational wealth, the steps involved in building it and how community-minded business ownership bridges the wealth gap.
WORKSHOP II
Workshop I alumni who submit a program evaluation gain free access to Workshop II. During this pre-recorded workshop, participants first learn how to actively fill out our original Community-Minded Business Concept Form that inherently teaches the art of giving back through business ownership that is grounded in sound business research, analysis and strategic planning. They then have the opportunity to learn about the business incorporation process as well as the first steps involved in bringing their business to the public.

We coach Black entrepreneurs from around the world who have original business ideas that push the limits and have the potential to change the world as we know it. Ideal participants are in the early stages of building or launching their business and seek the historical inspiration, expert direction and community necessary to take their concept to the next level. Program participants are chosen based on the quality of their application and the extent to which their needs are in line with the objectives of the program.
