A DIFFvelopment Black History Month Fundraising Campaign
Fundraising Goal: $15,000
DIFFvelopment is giving businesses the opportunity to be part of making history during Black History Month.
Black graduates face disproportionately high rates of underemployment, yet academic institutions do not prepare college students of African descent for their post-graduate reality. DIFFvelopment is the only nonprofit organization committed to addressing the issue of black underemployment by exposing college students of African descent to entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
How It Works
By donating a percentage of their sales to DIFFvelopment during the month of February, businesses can help DIFFvelopment reach its 2018 goal of providing over 5,000 black college students with free workshops, one-on-one counseling, a summer internship program and up to $5k in business startup funding.
